Responsible Classroom and Internet Conduct: Appropriate conduct is expected at all times. This includes respect for all classmates and meaningful class participation. Be prepared to share ideas about reading and to respect the different opinions expressed. Use of the Internet is strictly for academic purposes. Also, it is not appropriate to text message or talk on a cell phone while in class. You will be asked to leave the classroom if your conduct is inappropriate.
Assessment: Your final grades will be based on formal paragraphs and essays, journal writing, homework, in-class writing, and the final exam. Attendance and class participation will also be assessed as part of your final grades.
